When someone tells me that our prisons are full of drug offenders I immediately want to know what other charges were involved.
Another thing to watch for is the meaning of “prison”. Too often jail is used in the same context as prison when they’re really two different animals.
The reason all those people are in prison is simple. So the feds can release them all at once (except the white ones) and have them unleash death and destruction on white folks.
Oboma will likely hand each one of them an AK-47 and 1,000 rounds of info when they are released.

They make up the vast majority of criminals, and the prison population. It’s culture and demographics.
So, large numbers of guys are serving short sentences for violent crimes.
So what is the nature of these crimes? Is it domestic violence? Fights in bars? Strongarm robbery?
One poster at Slate has suggested that this rise is due to more female DAs, who have less tolerance for male violence that used to be considered somewhat normal.
On the day of the final exam, he singled out my chum and said, “Mr. P...I see you have an “A” going in this class. I have no doubt you will turn in another “A” paper today, so I'm going ahead to enter an “A” for the semester, if you will help me look after the class today.
That summer, Bill was having a couple of beers at a neighborhood night spot when a bully began calling him out and poking him with a pool cue. Humiliated, he went home and returned, waiting outside with a hunting knife he'd received as a Christmas gift.
A moment after leaving the bar, the bully was dead, the hunting knife stuck in his chest.
Bill pleaded guilty to Manslaughter and was sentenced to eight years imprisonment. He served four years and three months and was paroled, but this event marked the end of Bill as I knew him. Instead of a graduate professional job or a career in the Navy (as he had mentioned,) he ended up working in a auto body shop, later joining a biker gang.
His brief flash of anger and term in prison set the course for the rest of his life and nothing he could do would change the outcome.
Young black males: 3% of the population. 50% of the murders.
It’s not rocket science. The Baby-boom population was a huge bubble... There are simply less young males in the population now then before- i,e the primary demographic for criminals is smaller and shrinking.
One should probably not go to jail for mere possession, but if you steal my property it really doesn’t matter what your reasoning was, you should still go to the slam.
Another thing about the drugs, is that bad guys of all types often have drugs on them, so the drug charge is the one that becomes the conviction for the burglar, the shooter, the mugger, the parolee, etc.

So I guess the solution is to deport them all back to Africa? Or should do as Obola, Holder & Co. suggest and just ignore them altogether because it is simply racist to hold them accountable for their actions. After all, they ARE simply JUST BLACK and therefore it’s alright for them to continue their rampage against Whitey!

Anyone in prison for personal use of drugs already had a rap sheet a mile long, and was sent to prison on a parole violation!

Of course they are full of drug offenders. Those who use drugs commit crimes. And legalizing dope won’t change that fact. It will only lead to MORE crines.
One point the surrender monkeys sometime make is that too many people are in prison only due to only drug possession charges.
But that’s because they were arrested while committing some other crime AND (naturally) they were holding. Yet the DA would have a hard time proving those charges - it would cost too much money to bring the charges to trial - it would take too much time to bring the charges to trial - etc. and etc.
So deals are made and pleas are bargained and the criminal takes the deal and serves time only on the possession charge.
So. When the pro-dope liberaltarians tell you that x percent of prisoners are in jail simply for simple possession - they lie.
That’s a good question when you consider that the Kenyan, Holder and their radical ‘RAT comrades are putting the criminals back on the streets as fast as they can. They claimed they wanted to release all the Islamomurderers from GITMO. That was a lie. They don’t want ANYBODY in jail ANYWHERE. They want a lawless nation where crime is rampant.
That, to me, seems to be the nub of the story. Cops have caught more people (ie, criminals are getting caught more often) and prosecutors are treating the crimes more seriously than in the past. Both seem to be good things as long as you don't have prosecutorial abuse.
That's easy. It's LBJ's "War on Poverty." (1964) That's what caused the massive increase in Feral people, which caused the subsequent increase in the Prison population.
Raising young males without fathers in their lives has bad consequences.
Incarceration was declining in 1964, then we incentivized illegitimate children raised by mothers and fed by government. Of course we are going to end up with a bunch of subsequent "Lord of the Flies" Juvenile Delinquents.
