Lithuanian president urges West to help Ukraine

Lithuanian leader appeals for Western allies to use 'all means necessary' to help Ukraine

Amid a heated discussion on whether to provide Ukraine with lethal aid during the Munich Security Conference on Saturday, US Vice President Joe Biden delivered a balanced message while Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite urged the West to use ‘all means necessary' to help Ukraine.

In a panel discussion with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko the Lithuanian leader delivered a powerful message saying that 'if we betray Ukraine we betray ourselves, after Ukraine, we will be next'.

Estonia is first. Gdansk, Poland will be second, Lithuania third, Latvia 4th.

Putin is predictable. Russian passports proceed a Russian invasion where important oil shipping ports are located.

Putin has 2 years. He know Obama is a coward. The only thing stopping Putin is Merkel. She knows how to deal with him from their days in Dresden when the iron curtain was firmly in place.

The US is in no position to help anyone - exactly what the DemoRats & King Obama want...this is what happens when the news services don’t do their job of truthfully reporting on a potential candidate - said candidate is allowed to continue to run even after it is found out that fraud was involved in the early stages of voting for the person that will be on the final ballot - when idiots vote for said candidate without once asking themselves if they REALLY know the candidate - and then other voters DON’T vote because they don’t trust the opposition allowing the first candidate to win again...and the American Horror Story continues....bye bye Ukraine!

You are sadly correct.
The KGB sociopath knows our Muslim dictator and his boss Val Jar are more concerned about
destroying the white christen middle class before he is driven from office.

That’s a good point, because for all any of us know, the people in the Ukraine aren’t really neccessarily friends. If anything, the Russians will cause plenty of domestic damage to their own country from fighting a prolonged conflict, and I sure am game for that happening. A weakened Russia means less problems for the rest of us.

Yes, Estonia would be the first. But second would be Latvia with 30% ethnic Russians

Why do you put Poland on that list? We don't have ethnic Russians and don't have a border with Russia except at Kaliningrad. Also, Lithuania, while it shares a border with Russia and was part of the Soviet Union, has a small % less than 10% of ethnic Russians

Lithuania and Estonia are both NATO members, its one thing for Putin to mess with the Ukraine, but NATO members are another matter. Poland doesn’t have an ethnic muscovite problem, and the Polish military is the best amongst the Eastern NATO countries. It seems that the Russians are struggling against the Ukrainians, so its safe to say that fighting the Poles would be a hell of a lot worse!

I stand by my prediction as long as Obama is in office. I hope I’m wrong. But with Obama at the helm of NATO, NATO is nothing. Let’s face it, NATO is only as strong as the USA. Putin creates “ethnic Russians” in the regions he wants. I was in Tbilisi right before the invasion of South Ossetia and Abkhazia. Crates of blank Russian passports were sent to the areasans tuh-duh, Putin has to go protect the poor Russians from the wily Georgians. Obama and NATO completely ignored the treaty we have with Ukraine to defend her from invasion. Obama abandoned defense technology to Poland. I have zero faith that Obama or NATO would do a single thing to protect the Baltic states even with a full invasion.

Regards,

Opie

This is kind of off topic, but where do you donate to the Ukraine effort- medical aide, food, etc... .

I don't care about it being tax exempt, but I don't want 90% of my money being used as administration fee.

I am donating through http://freeukraine.net/en/

They have European bank account and PayPal. They are putting together field medic backpacks and individual soldier first aid kits and sending these to Ukraine by post. Administration does not get paid.

Another option is, you could get in contact with this individual: https://www.facebook.com/sofiya.fedyna?fref=ts Well known singer in Ukraine, involved with coordinating supplies. She is highly recommended by Ukrainian friends here in the states.

I just let her know some folks may or may not contact her. Just message her to her facebook page if you decide. Ask her any questions you have. She should be able to help, tell you what you can do, etc.

The Russkies are already threatening these countries. For Poland in particular, they've done mock war games simulating nuclear attacks. They've also been "hint" "hint" "wink" "wink" already talking about these "revolutions" occuring in other countries. Estonia is already the target of disinformation by Russian media.

Population isn't a problem. In East Ukraine Russkies aren't even a majority. Doesn't stop them. Russkies are like the Muslims of the Slavic world.
