I had ulcerative colitis (inflammation of the colon), then colon cancer. The cure, remove the colon. Simple.
Earlier in the article we learned that cancer is caused by damaging DNA. We also learned that inflammation is bad. Doesn't chemo also cause inflammation? As other commenters pointed out the article does not give any practical advice about reducing inflammation through dietary changes. Obviously that was not their focus, but it is par for the course for the rather worthless "science" of medicine that ignores holism.
