But it isn’t. That’s my point. For one thing it’s really not S&M stuff, it’s vibrators, lube, and blindfolds most of which you could already get at Target anyway. And “back in the day” (70s again) I remember seeing porn mags at the grocery store, right next to the tabloids. And of course they’re in those “normal” catalogs right next to the shower buddy. The only thing that’s really different about this is that thanks to 50 Shades (which, BTW, is pretty universally reviled in the kink community for doing it all wrong, especially the consent part) there’s now “name brand” stuff and they’re more upfront about it. It’s all been there, readily available, even in “regular” stores, for a long time.
Not sure why everybody needs to get all ‘up in arms” about this.
A healthy sex life can be a real asset in marriage. Sometimes, it just needs a little sprucing up. It can be positive.
In Sweden, I think couples have a more healthy work/life balance. Sexuality is seen in a completely different light. People want to look and feel sexy. It makes people happy - as God intended.
In the U.S., there seem to be a lot more hang ups, bored men looking for something on the side, and lack of positive body image. It leads, I think, to a lot of obesity and poor dispositions.
Live a little, have some fun once in a while!
Guess I’ve been living a pretty tame life.... and/or getting the wrong information. lol
