Former Gov. Jesse Ventura appeared to link “American Sniper” Chris Kyle to Nazi soldiers in a Fox News Radio interview that aired Tuesday night. Ventura told radio host Alan Colmes, “Our people are behaving just like the people in Germany in the ’30s.”
Radio host and former governor Jesse Ventura compared the United States to Nazi Germany and the Communists in a recent conversation with liberal Alan Colmes.

VENTURA: A hero should have honor. A hero is not how many people you’ve killed. You know he’s obviously a great sniper. He’s obviously a great shot. He obviously did his job correctly. Alan let me fire this one at you: Do you think the Nazis have heroes?
COLMES: Well, obviously the Nazis were fighting for a cause we can’t condone.
VENTURA: Wait Wait Wait. When they invaded a country, when they invaded Poland, when they invaded France, and if a Nazi soldier killed a hundred people that had lived there, would he be classified a hero in Germany?
COLMES: But are you comparing what the Nazi mission was versus what our mission is in war as a country?
VENTURA: Well what I’m stating is we invaded Iraq, we were not asked in. We invaded a country, we overthrew its government, and then we killed people that lived there.
COLMES: Are we analogous to the Nazis?
VENTURA: Well, and the Communists, yeah.
VENTURA: Our people right now are behaving just like the people did in Germany in the ’30s. We’re behaving the same way.
COLMES: In what way?
VENTURA: We’re ostracizing certain races and certain religions. We’re doing all the things in the ’30s. We’re allowing the police state to take control of our country. We’re allowing our cops to walk around looking like stormtroopers. C’mon, am I blind?

Well Ventura won a defamation suit against that allegation & if Kyle really did punch Ventura it would have been news at the time - so I wonder.
I agree with Jesse, but not the way he meant.
Obama’s zombie horde are acting precisely as those in the 1930’s when following Hitler. They swooned and adored him, blindly followed his demands and attacked those with whom he disliked.

There are many people with libertarian leanings that are nothing like Jesse Ventura or Ron Paul.

Jesse used to appear on the Mike Trivisanno talk show here in Cleveland. He called himself “Mr. Blue.” and they tried to electronically disguise his voice, but it was obviously him/ Nut case, but wart, but made me laugh at the stuff he spewed!
Unjustly winning money in court wasn’t enough for lil’ Jesse so he has now gone to slinging mud at a dead man. I just hope Ventura lets something slip that will allow Kyle’s widow to sue him.
People keep drawing this distinction between the Nationalist Socialists of Germany and the International Socialists of the Soviet Union, but the two ideologies are much more alike than different. The differences were in degree of control of a command economy, and who should be in charge of the levers of power.
Each small oligarchy in charge of their respective fiefdoms thought they knew the “right” way to do it, but the better analogy today would be in the administration of that ideology claiming to be a religion, Islam, and the deadly internecine warfare between the two main factions, Shi’ite and Sunni.
A Hobson’s choice, either way. Surrender to our demands, or die. Both sides in the socialist rivalry, and in the Islamic rivalry, are totally against any expression of free will or personal excellence. Reward, if there is to be any, is because of finding favor with the ruling clique, or ruthlessly clawing to the top of the heap.
The 24/7 entertainment craving media audiences give the incentive for washed-up has-beens to say outrageous things.

This police state stuff drives me nuts.
I’m out and about quite a bit and have NEVER seen a cop dressed like a storm trooper.
I’ve seen it on TV during special circumstances,but that’s it.
What on earth is he talking about?

There are Nazi looking police uniforms in America, but he probably meant when they send civilian commandos dressed like Airborne Rangers, or Navy SEALs to homes, to serve warrants and make arrests, or just about any occasion they can dress up like soldiers.
