Republican senator Jeff Sessions will be releasing this statement responding to the Senate blocking a vote on Homeland Security funding:
“House and Senate Republicans are standing together in defense of our laws, our borders, and our constituents. But Senate Democrats, following their party leaders, blocked debate on this bill—a bill which fully funds every lawful activity of DHS. What the bill does not fund are actions that violate the law. Senate Democrats are voting to protect an imperial overreach and to deny citizens control over their own government. They are advancing an open-borders agenda against the will of the American people.
"When President Obama and a cadre of special interests tried to force his immigration bill through the Congress, the spoke out clearly—and stopped it. Voters sent home many of the lawmakers who voted to support that agenda. So President Obama met with those same immigration lobbyists to craft executive decrees accomplishing by fiat what was denied by the constitutional, legislative process.

He’d certainly be much much better than Lindsay Graham, Chris Christie or Jeb Bush. Is it because he’ll be 70 in 2016?

He is one of my Senators. I certainly didn’t realize he was that “old”, but then I’m 68, which is NOT old! Sessions is a good man, a Patriot and certainly could make a great President. Given what I see on the Republican horizon in terms of potential candidates, Sessions should run.

Even though your version is real catchy, I kinda like mine. The GOP flashed it as "democRATs" once as a subliminal message in an ad and I thought it should be put into our lexicon right where everybody could see it clearly.

Interesting the Majority Leader doesn’t seem to be on board.
The problem is not only that Dems (and their media pals) are screwing us to change the face of America and get voters, but also the establishnent GOP that is beholden to crony capitalists that want third world labor.
Many Americans outside the base of the GOP (I’s and even moderate Ds) do not want illegal immigration.. This is a chance here to regain America for Americans and also the Republican Party for Americans instead of for the globalized corporations. As I heard an Idaho rep say today, McConnell needs to target the weak Dem Senators and call for a vote, but does he really want to block Obamas EO?
Some of these Politicians have been hanging around DC so long they only care about themselves now .How about an age limit or term limit to keep the country moving ,right now it’s constipated
