As long as he has it setup right, I wouldn’t have a big problem with it. Seems he’s at least friendly about it by telling folks before he plans on shooting.

The noise might be un-nerving at times though. Regarding the comment by the neighbor, if he has his range well setup with a good backstop, there will be no need to “hide” when he shoots. It WOULD be nice for everyone if he could legally and easily run suppressors on his firearms to cut down on the noise in a residential area. They can blame the idiot laws for that.

That's the problem. We need to repeal the entire National Firearms Act and all restrictions on suppressors. It would be a lot less disturbing if this guy had a silencer. It would also be nice if he built the range properly or shot indoors instead of doing something that might provoke stupid laws. I don't shoot outdoors in a neighborhood.

Florida recently made it legal to hunt with suppressors. One thought I had about this guy was that he wanted to fast-track applications for suppressors.
