Let’s hope I am correct.
Yeh just one but who? Harper of Canada maybe? Bibi has too precarious a position. Should be the USA right? But look who’s at the helm. Shame on the western leaders of this time.
Uh-oh, the Japanese edition of the strongly-worded letter. That’ll show ISIS!
How about a Kamakaze attack on IS’s Capital with a plane load of Nuke Junk from that reactor that failed—a Dirty Bomb to kill all living things in 10 mile range. OR have them side with Assad—send money and goods to stamp out IS.
Time to declare war on IS!
If I were the leader of a non-western country and I had evil designs on the West, this is the time to attack the West, because the West has no leadership worth speaking of, and some of its leadership will act in such a way that benefits the non-western aggressor. This is a golden window of opportunity for the non-western leader, but that window may not last long (and not because the West will suddenly grow a pair, but the non-western world will begin to collapse on its own).
Those weren’t ninjas, but conscripts. :P Doesn’t detract from his bravery or skill, though.
God Bless Mr. Ahrens and all the people who....saved Liberty.
God Bless you too Sky for reminding us kids who grew up after.
Let us never forget.
The Muslims are going to be sorry they started something — which the rest of the world will finish.
That’s very true. Actually same should be said for those who have capability to project themselves - anyone traveling there should accept that it’s very high risk.
Coming from a military family I always had answers to questions.
In the early years Japanese soldiers were the elite of the Japanese army, but through attrition ordinary citizens were drafted ...
You would prefer the response our president makes when one of our citizens is killed?
You really believe that US citizens are afforded any more protection from our government than are those of Japan.
Accept for those of our citizens that have ransomed by Obama with Islamist prisoners I dont see our citizens being better off.
And I personally would prefer that those exchanges not have taken place.
We may have the military where-with-all to retaliate against ISSIS but our politically correct government does not have the nads to make use of that power.
The US is a paper tiger and the Islamist of the world know it. Bush may have retaliated but these people are in this war for the long haul. Our nation is not and it is plainly obvious.
Why would you say that? Because our response to Charlie Hebdo is to send Kerry, who offered to give the French a hug, and James Taylor, who consoled them with his soft rock schlock? (/sarc)
What a far cry from the "we will fight them on the beaches, we will fight them in the streets" mindset.
I'm basing that on the many stories over the years involving Americans who came back alive from dangerous situations like this overseas.
I'll cite just one here as an example:
You'll note that "retaliation" has nothing to do with any of this. The whole purpose of an operation like this is to get people out alive before there's a need to retaliate.
Pontiac: Um, I think the above comment you quoted was an error in response to my post #29. I never made that comment & not related to mine :)
My imagination had Japan taking the gloves off. Too bad.
I don’t know that there is even one leader in the world that would
say then do the right thing..at least not from what I can tell.
What is interesting is how a country that was once willing to dominate the world and cause untold suffering, now cowers and negotiates with this infernal cult...
Doesn’t sound that much different to me. Talk is talk.
