I think the top Sheriffs of every State should undergo a week’s training every year in Israel, on the perimeter, such that they can keep things in perspective, and learn the threat of Islam.

I think that's a great idea. They should really organize it with Israel, rotate a group every 2 weeks or so. Two weeks would be an intensive course that would be invaluable plus the feedback back home to each department. A week would be better than nothing though.
