The Greeks are learning a hard lesson. When you have no money, nobody takes you seriously.

Guess he only said that mess to get elected. No matter the country, politicians are all the same.

“...he simply knowingly lied to get elected. Like obama.”

Evidently.

Although Obama didn’t even lie all that much to get elected, the big lies came later “like your doctor, keep your doctor”, etc.

When he was running he said things like: under my plan electricity rates will necessarily skyrocket.

The media lied, by omission, for him. Which of course they continue to do and will continue to do. It’ll be one hundred years before the truth of that loser is printed in books, if it ever is even then.

It's easy to tell your voters you'll screw your foreign creditors.

It's tougher to say it to your creditors......and then tell them you'll need more Euros in a month.

As a true Socialist, putting his own country first and shattering the Euro is the last thing he would want to do.

Sure! The Greeks will certainly pay their debts! (as soon as they cow the Germans into paying them reparations)

Was he the guy I saw trying to peddle fake Rolex watches in the Walmart parking lot? Maybe that’s part of his debt payoff plan.
