What Sheriff Joe Just Said Will Have Obama And His Liberal Attack Dogs Howling Mad

"America's Toughest Sheriff" makes his move... Norvell Rose — January 30, 2015

He says it will be “the toughest campaign I have ever run.” But that would seem to be the right kind of fight for Joe Arpaio, “America’s Toughest Sheriff.”

In an email sent to friends and supporters, the 82-year-old Sheriff Joe says he has decided to run for a seventh term as the top lawman in Arizona’s Maricopa County.

The email blast that went out today asks recipients to sign a “personalized ‘I STAND WITH JOE’ re-election support pledge immediately.”

Sheriff Joe also asks for financial support, saying that fighting the recall battle last year “severely drained my campaign account.”

Arpaio notes that in his six consecutive terms as Sheriff of Maricopa County, he has vigorously pushed back against “radical leftists, law-enforcement bashing demagogues.”

Recently, Sheriff Joe scored a win in that push-back effort as he took a local civil rights activist through a training exercise that changed his opinion of law enforcement officers and their demanding duties.

Western Journalism reported on that experience, as well as Arpaio’s follow-up invitation to Al Sharpton to go through the same kind of eye-opening training.

So far, there’s been no word from Sharpton as to whether he’ll take up Arpaio on his offer.

In the email announcing his decision to run for re-election, Arpaio specifically mentioned President Obama as an adversary, as well as other liberal individuals and organizations who have for years opposed him and his tough stands against illegal immigration and Obama’s unilateral move to provide millions of illegal immigrants with sweeping amnesty.

82 huh? If I lived in Maricopa County, I don’t Thank God, I would be very interested in Sheriff Joe’s Chief Deputy and his politics. I assume he will be at the top of any succession list.

Never in a million years. Any liberal that goes through LEO training will develop conservative traits like respect, honor, integrity then get “it”. They can’t have that.

Joe Arpaio is “America’s sheriff”
Rudy Galliano was “America’s mayor”
Ronald Reagan was “America’s president”

These men have left big shoes to fill and a level of excellency to aspire to ..and expect..

when we allow their example to be watered down we lose our city, our county, our country..

He may be 82, but he’s got the energy, spunk, and fight of a man many decades younger than his chronological age.

The Democrats had better help to re-elect Sheriff Joe Arpaio as Sheriff, otherwise we’ll elect him as President of the United States and let him investigate from the White House.

Clarence Dupnik, Pima County’s non-sheriff announced yesterday that he is stepping down.

I know a guy who lives rather close to Tupelo, who used to live in Maricopa County. He lived in Arpaio’s tent city to be precise. He’s now a law-abiding citizen who is married with three kids. He lives in a small mansion and holds a respectable high-paying white collar job. I know him through business and was floored when I learned of his past. For some misguided gangbangers, Arpaio’s medicine is the perfect cure.

I live in AZ and while I like and support Sheriff Joe,; IMHO, it is time for him to retire. I have seen him speak at a couple of recent events and he just does not seem to be on his game

Hey, that might be a good misdirection move! A big "Sheriff Joe for President" campaign, while we sneak in a younger conservative while they're busy busting on him!

That’s good news! Do the citizens of Pima County have a real sheriff in the wings?

I live in it and Sheriff Joe is @amn fine. I will support him this election cycle. Still at 82 it is time to turn over the reins to another generation after many decades of exemplary service.
