Comcast can do anything they want. Nobody forced these customers to buy their service./s
Raul's promiscuous niece ?
Quick, impose net neutrality so this kind of abuse can be stopped! /s
Whore Julia.....isn’t that the Obama campaign’s fictional slut who is addicted to government programs for her entire life?
Names aren’t all they are changing. They also keep upping the bills all the time in small increments so we can pay for their ads for 9.95 internet for slackers.
I had an ugly run in with Comcast this week.
The smart azz worker told me that they have to pay bills too.
After I cancelled my Comcrap service, I’ve had two people come to my door trying to sign me back up. One was so persistent that I was very close to “leave my property or I’m calling the cops”.
People apparently don’t know how to deal with comcast. I manage to keep my cost at near basic levels for internet and TV just short of the movie channels.
I call angry and end up telling the person on the phone that I’m not angry at them personally but I’m going to be forced to shut off the TV service. Then I can usually back them down on the cost for another 3 months.
Comcast sucks. It really sucks. It makes Soviet retail look customer friendly.
If you want jobs to come back to the USA, be careful what you wish for.
I’m a sports fanatic and have gone without cable or dtv for 9 yrs ...please don’t make this sound like you have no choice. In such a horrible economy and bleak financial future I don’t identify with those who rationalize they can’t live without.
Your family will interact more. You can get clearwire and Ooma and save some bucks and be free of commie companies you are helping.
Pretty neat what Photoshop and a good printer can do...
I’ve had Comcast for the past three years - never a problem. Switched from ATT, much better speed and reliability.
I am a gentle, respectful, and general lovable FReeper, but I HATE Comcast.
When you hire spoiled liberal LIV brats this is what you get. I’m sure many of them are freshly out of college (indoctrination school) too and think they are geniuses for changing their customer’s names because they wouldn’t buy their upgrades or complained about poor service...
I guess I am the only sentient being in North America whose dealings with Comcast have been positive.
Probably because I don’t have cable TV (cut the cord years ago), just internet service, which has been quite good and exceedingly reliable. They took over from Roadrunner which seemed to have an outage every other week.
My only complaint is that the price has inched up over time and I’m now paying close to $70 monthly.
Seems to me that the person at Comcast just invalidated their contract and bill. Since the bill in not in your Legal Name then Comcast would be unable to collect the bill. If Comcast said it was a mistake and you still owe, tell them to sue you because you want Comcast to explain how their ‘mistake’ became an offensive word and not a ‘typo’ to a jury!
Can you say personnel problem? :-)
