No, he is not my inspiration. I just said that even he was right every now and then, I sure didn't give him anything close to a blanket endorsement.

I must admit there is a certain satisfaction in seeing liberals hoist upon their own petards.

But pull any quote out of the same dark orifice you got that one from, but that doesn't mean that because I agreed with one (which Sarah Palin paraphrased in a speech) that I'd agree with YOUR selection any more than she would.

Sarah is a Rorschach Test. She works equally well on lefties and RINOs.

Probably 15 years ago a local radio host said the political debates of our time are not right versus left but inside versus outside, and so it has been ever since, even inside the 'Pub party. 'Establishment' is not just a matter of circumstance but of world view.

I wish there was a little less 'establishment' in the mindset of some fellow posters. It appears in the form of clucking disapproval at the latest appearance of Palin.

If she read it off a paper in front of the audience it wouldn't be the same. A speaker must ENGAGE them.

A lip-synch backup would be handy in cases like that, the way singers do.
