We are soooooo in the dark when it comes to listening to God's Word.

Pray for a true revival, folks. A Spirit led move to the Saviour.

By the way, I don’t know what is necessarily meant by “in the pulpit”....a speaker? A senior pastor? A minister?

And what is this number among church going Christians vs. the general public?

Just wondering.

Most of the women pastors I’ve had the misfortune to experience were also lesbians, or very hostile to men.

Forty-six percent (46%) support open gays and lesbians holding senior leadership positions in their respective faiths.

I'm sure glad lunch is still a couple of hours away... this is sickening.

Just 43% of Americans favor openly gay and lesbian individuals in the pulpit.

And how many of these 43% Americans identify as atheist or some other non-Christian faith?

The great thing about the USA is the [supposed] freedom of religion. If you wish to worship a certain way with a like-minded congregation, you’re free to - regardless of what polls say.

So what? God’s laws aren’t established by majority vote. Nor is God running for the position of God.

Why do I care one bit what Americans think about who should be allowed in the pulpit? Scripture is quite clear on this.

**The more one attends religious services, however, the less supportive he or she is of women, gays and lesbians in the pulpit.**

Well, no kidding.

Using the Bible as a guide, it is quite simple to find our answers, and not go by feelings. God gave us minds to use in conjunction with our heart. Women should not be Pastors, they can hold many other positions, and yes they may speak in Church too. However, a congregations pastor they shall not be.

Here are their questions. I’m still looking for all of the answers:

Questions - Religious Beliefs - January 26-27, 2015

National Survey of 800 Adults
Conducted January 26-27, 2015

By Rasmussen Reports

1* How important is your religious faith in your daily life – very important, somewhat important, not very important or not at all important?

2* Which of the following best describes your faith or religious affiliation?

3* How often do you attend your Church, Synagogue, or Mosque?

4* Do you favor or oppose women in the pulpit?

5* Do you favor or oppose women in senior leadership positions in their respective faiths?

6* Do you favor or oppose openly gay and lesbian individuals in the pulpit?

7* Do you favor or oppose openly gay and lesbian individuals in senior leadership positions in their respective faiths?

8* Would America be a better place or a worse place if most people attended religious services on a regular basis? Or would it have no impact?

9* Does the government today discriminate against people of religious faith?

NOTE: Margin of Sampling Error, +/- 4 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence

HERE’S the rub...

“Additional information from this survey and a full demographic breakdown are available to Platinum Members only.”

It is meaningless without this data and the survery could’ve been headlined “MAJORITY OF AMERICANS SAY GOVERNMENT DISCRIMINATES AGAINST PEOPLE OF RELIGIOUS FAITH. MAJORITY OF AMERICANS SAY AMERICA WOULD BE A BETTER PLACE IF PEOPLE REGULARLY ATTENDED RELIGIOUS SERVICES”.

We won’t know, those questions were used to dig deeper into the data but were not included in the “report” that was headlined “religious beliefs”. Religious beliefs regarding homosexual activists and feminists is the real survey at hand.

The only question that matters is, “What has God said he wants in that regard?”

So help me GOD, I will never be a member of a congregation or denomination that allows an open, unrepentant homosexual to serve as a spiritual leader.

Never. That is a non-negotiable principle of mine.

Even if I have to start a home church.

...Sometime later, I was a young divorcee with a small child. At the urging of my sister, I relocated to NYC after spending years married to an American executive stationed in Southeast Asia. The marriage over, I was making a new life for my daughter and me. Katie said, “Come to New York. We’re making revolution! Some of us are starting the National Organization of Women and you can be part of it.”

I hadn’t seen her for years. Although she had tormented me when we were youngsters, those memories were faint after my Asian traumas and the break-up of my marriage. I foolishly mistook her for sanctuary in a storm. With so much time and distance between us, I had forgotten her emotional instability.

And so began my period as an unwitting witness to history. I stayed with Kate and her lovable Japanese husband, Fumio, in a dilapidated loft on The Bowery as she finished her first book, a PhD thesis for Columbia University, “Sexual Politics.”

It was 1969. Kate invited me to join her for a gathering at the home of her friend, Lila Karp. They called the assemblage a “consciousness-raising-group,” a typical communist exercise, something practiced in Maoist China. We gathered at a large table as the chairperson opened the meeting with a back-and-forth recitation, like a Litany, a type of prayer done in Catholic Church. But now it was Marxism, the Church of the Left, mimicking religious practice:

“Why are we here today?” she asked.
“To make revolution,” they answered.
“What kind of revolution?” she replied.
“The Cultural Revolution,” they chanted.
“And how do we make Cultural Revolution?” she demanded.
“By destroying the American family!” they answered.
“How do we destroy the family?” she came back.
“By destroying the American Patriarch,” they cried exuberantly.
“And how do we destroy the American Patriarch?” she replied.
“By taking away his power!”
“How do we do that?”
“By destroying monogamy!” they shouted.
“How can we destroy monogamy?”

Their answer left me dumbstruck, breathless, disbelieving my ears. Was I on planet earth? Who were these people?

“By promoting promiscuity, eroticism, prostitution and homosexuality!” they resounded.

They proceeded with a long discussion on how to advance these goals by establishing The National Organization of Women. It was clear they desired nothing less than the utter deconstruction of Western society. The upshot was that the only way to do this was “to invade every American institution. Every one must be permeated with ‘The Revolution’”: The media, the educational system, universities, high schools, K-12, school boards, etc.; then, the judiciary, the legislatures, the executive branches and even the library system.

It fell on my ears as a ludicrous scheme, as if they were a band of highly imaginative children planning a Brinks robbery; a lark trumped up on a snowy night amongst a group of spoiled brats over booze and hashish...

I favor neither. Then again, I read and believe the Bible, and I love and fear God more than I love and fear men.
