Gunman arrested at Dutch national broadcaster

A gunman has been arrested after entering the offices of a Dutch national broadcaster demanding that he be put on air.

Jan de Jong, director of the NOS broadcaster, told national radio that: "Someone got into the building" and added that the man had been taken into custody.

Mr De Jong said it was unclear how the man got through tight security in the building and into the editorial offices in Hilversum.

They guy claimed to be hired by security agencies in the past and was threathening with a cyberattack and 6 bombs that were placed thoughout the land in a letter and he was mumbling stuff at the studio.

What? No EU inter-country background check? How is it even possible for him to have obtained a weapon? I thought those were only for disgruntled immigrants.
