the police were trying not to upset or embarrass the citys Muslim mayor, Naheed Nenshi. Other than sending out a tweet criticizing violence in general, Nenshi had nothing to say about residents of his city being beaten because they dared to show support for Israel.
There is no doubt Calgary is a permissive city when it comes to beating up Jews or perceived Jews and running to Syria to fight against the West.
Many Canadians are wondering if their country will end up like the UK and other European countries who have ceded control of many areas to Muslims and who give in to extremists on a regular basis. To determine if this will become the case in Canada, Calgary is a good city to watch.

That’s a shame. I like Calgary, but the coldest I have ever been in my life was one February day when I was forced to go outside the hotel I was staying in.
