An upcoming civil rights talk by UC Santa Cruz emeritus professor Angela Davis has prompted division and outcry among local Jews due to Davis’ public support for boycotts of Israel.
Titled “Racism, Militarism, Poverty: From Ferguson to Palestine,” Davis’s free talk Wednesday is expected to draw hundreds to the Civic Auditorium for UCSC’s 31st annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Convocation, an appearance for which she is receiving $15,000 for her campus research fund, according UCSC spokesman Scott Hernandez-Jason.

Angela Davis is just plain evil. She is a communist and was a darling of Brezhnev’s thugocracy, yet when approached by a group representing political prisoners in the Warsaw Pact, Davis insulted them by saying there are no political prisoners in communism, that those prisoners were “enemies of the people”.
She truly deserves to be sent on a one-way trip to North Korea, to be a slave.
