On Sunday, President Barack Obama released an anti-oil drilling environmental video shot aboard Air Force Onean aircraft that has a 53,611 gallon fuel capacity.
The video, which shows Obama aboard Air Force One, is interspersed with scenes of arctic animals and wildlife landscapes, reports National Public Radio (NPR). Its all part of Obamas ANWR (Arctic National Wildlife Refuge) newly proposed plan to ban roads, permanent structures, vehicles, drilling, and mining on 12.28 million acres in ANWR.
On Saturday, Obama flew Air Force One over 8,000+ miles to India to discuss global warming and other issues.

53,000 gallons of fuel? not sure if I believe that one
Maybe pounds.
According to Boeing that is correct.

The cluelessness is strong in this one.
See post #4.
Isn’t it amazing how all of these evironazis who preach policies where we the little people either live in a pre industrial lifestyle or pay budget breaking prices for heating, transportation and by necessity food and goods, while they jet around and live the life of pleasure and leisure!
Yeah the presidential planes are specially built and I suspect that includes excess fuel capacity.
Now that’s a load of “gas”
Design mission zero fuel weight. 46,000 pounds. Maximum landing weight. 630,000 pounds. Fuel capacity. 53,611 gallons. Range. 7,800 statute miles.

Just think the average car holds about 15 gallons of gas per full tank.
53,611 / 15 = 3,574 cars per 1 tank or every 7800 miles.
How far is Washington from India?
And just think this is only for 1 trip! Then they elitist have the audacity to lecture to us???
That means each jet engine on AF! burns 1.71 gallons per mile, X 4
And I thought a Sherman tank was thirsty!
They want other people to suffer from their enviro-whacko policies. They will make themselves exempt.
so it gets 0.14 miles to the gallon
where do they put all that fuel? that’s the equivalent of 1000 50-gallon drums
It’s just astounding how nobody involved with this production, from the _resident on down, has no sense of shame or awareness of irony about this.
Good grief that’s a gas guzzler!
How much fuel has that Jackass and his fat butt wife wasted flying around the world the past six years? I would love to know what the six years in office by the Obama’s has cost the American tax payer?? What is your guess??? $100, 200, 300 million? A billion or two. Remember, every stinking time they go, what has to go with them!!!
I found the answer to that fairly quickly looking it up on Google (try 747 fuel tanks). Airforce 1 is a modified 747 and holds slightly more fuel than a basic 747. But the fuel “tanks” as it were is on the bottom slightly forward of mid plane with reserve tanks in the wings.. From experience, I know these planes can hold an awful lot of whatever. Flying back from the middle east, we fit a whole infantry battalion and all of our equipment on two aircraft, and stopped for fuel once. It took several hours of loading completely full palates on the bottom, I was fearful we would never get off the ground.
