Downtown Seattle shooting leaves two injured

SEATTLE - An Eastside couple was stuck right in the middle of Wednesday night’s shootout at Third Avenue and Pine Street. Jennifer Bowman and her boyfriend Aaron Gazes left an event nearby and were headed home when the light turned red. All of sudden -- they heard gunfire.

“We watched a gunfight go down. It was the scariest thing I’ve seen in my life,” said Bowman, who showed KIRO-7 how she tried to put her seat back to hide.

Gazes considered running the red light, but was afraid he’d draw the attention of the gunmen -- 5 or 6 men who he says were all armed.

“My next thought was to dive underneath my driver’s wheel and duck for cover, thinking some bullets were going to hit our car. We were that close,” described Gazes.

Police are investigating a downtown Seattle shooting that left two people injured -- including a teen boy -- Wednesday night.

After 8:00 p.m., officers responded to a shooting and saw a large group of people running from Third Avenue and Pine Street in downtown Seattle.

Officers found a 25-year-old man and 16-year-old boy with gunshot wounds. The two were taken to Harborview Medical Center.

Fire officials said the 25-year-old, who was shot in the chest, was in critical condition and the teen, who was shot in the leg, was in serious condition.

About 20 to 30 shell casings were found scattered around a block.

Windows at the Olympic Tower apartment building on Pine were shot up during the incident.

Authorities have not found a suspect and are working to get a description.

Streets near the area were shut down for police to investigate.

Police continued to investigate Thursday, reviewing surveillance videos and talking to witnesses. Seyd Ahsan owns the falafel shop on Pine Street between 2nd Ave and 3rd Ave.

He found a bullet on the floor of his business on Thursday morning. He just happened to close early Wednesday night -- business was slow.

Ahsan said the bullet that came through his front window could have hit a customer. He’s thankful he closed early. Anyone with information is urged to call the Seattle Police Department's homicide and assault tip line at (206) 233-5000.

Woman arrested after drive-by shooting in Belltown

A 20-year-old woman was arrested early Saturday in connection with a drive-by shooting in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood.

Officers were in the area when they heard shots fired around 1 a.m. near First Avenue and Blanchard Street. A woman reported that a bullet came through her apartment window and witnesses reported seeing a white Camaro fleeing the area, Seattle police said.

A trail of blood was found at the scene, but as of Saturday afternoon, a victim had not been located.

Police found the Camaro crashed in the 900 block of South Dearborn Street. The driver fled, leaving behind the woman and a man, 22, who had been riding in the backseat. Police interviewed and released him.

Police recovered a 9mm handgun at the crash.

This is the second shooting in Belltown this week. Monday’s shooting left a 21-year-old man injured.

Sounds like the WH gun disarmament spec-op units are at it again...expect mass killings staged by them in the coming weeks. They are on a mission to disarm patriots any way they can even if it means killing large masses and blaming it on Tea Party patriots by planting evidence....

Same event reported by another local news station.

Quotes:

“Investigators still don’t know what triggered the shooting, but it’s the third time someone has been shot in downtown Seattle in two days.”

“Seattle Police said they have officers spread across downtown. Their mobile precinct was parked just around the corner Wednesday night and officers responded almost immediately after hearing the gunfire.”
(and they still did not capture and arrest them!)

When I lived on Bainbridge Island, just off Seattle, I never liked going to Seattle because of all the street people in the department store area where well-heeled people shop — essentially where these people were shot.

Seattle is so politically correct, they don’t want to arrest anyone, because after all, suspects have rights. Especially drugged out blacks. And whites too, who hassle people on sidewalks, steal you purse, rough you up, and now take out their guns and shoot you. Of course it’s the guns’ fault. .

“Investigators still don’t know what triggered the shooting,”

Probably a finger.

Last year there were NO after-Bowl riots like yopu find in other places. There was one hell of a party, but no robberies, looting, or cars torched. We had fun.

Well, from the article the only given clue as to anyone’s ethnicity is that the sixteen year old was a Negro. He was referred to as a “teen.” A teenager is usually white but can be black; a teen is a Negro less than approximately 30 years old.
