Scraps Border Fencing, Delays Biometric, Preserves Catch-and-Release, Allows Work Permits for Border-Crossers...The pace at which this bill is being rammed through the House suggests that the leadership is eager to pass a token bill and then inform the public that the border problem has been solved, while leaving the president's executive amnesty intact and his abuse of authority unchallenged.

They think the people that pay their salaries are either stupid, not paying attention to their underhanded tactics or both
Remind me again why did we all bother to vote in Nov?
The gop can say they stopped Obama’s executive amnesty by simply passing a bill doing everything Obama is doing.
Here is Congressman McCauls announcement of his bill to his constituents (including myself), including summary and text descriptions.

“Scraps Border Fencing, Delays Biometric, Preserves Catch-and-Release, Allows Work Permits for Border-Crossers...”
In other words it’s everything that a Jeb Bush, John Boehner, Mitch McConnell Republican could want.
Except for amnesty, and the traitors will help Obama to pass amnesty this year.
The CIS analysis of Congressman McCaul’s legislation is brutal.
I've never heard of McCaul before, so I'll withhold judgment on his motives.
However, I have completely lost confidence in the honesty of our GOP leadership, and I firmly believe a majority of elected Republicans support Amnesty (and also ObamaCare).
I’m sure you have seen him recently if you watch Fox News, or maybe any other. He is one of the most important Reps, in my opinion by virtue of his committee chairmanship of Homeland Security Committee, and the others he’s on. He also happens to be the wealthiest of all congresscritters (both houses).

His wife is the daughter of the founder of Clear Channel Communications.
I watch almost no televised political news.
I can't tolerate the relentless Hard Left MSM bias anymore.
And, I can't bear to watch the truly pathetic defense of Conservative principles offered up by our center-left Republican leadership.
And, since 2008, I have also refused to watch Obama on TV because I consider him to be the most dangerous, most destructive, and most deceitful American politician in my fairly long lifetime.
Sorry - I'm not impressed.
Every elected Republican, and most elected Democrats, talk a good game on “Border Security.”
In the meantime, though, very few of them are demanding that our current immigration laws should be vigorously enforced.
Fewer still are demanding that the “old” Border Fence legislation (2009) should be funded and built.
McCaul’s new bill has a five year phase-in and gives almost total executive control to a commission of appointed, “non-partisan” experts.
And, I have never heard McCaul speak out on the equally serious issue of massive legal immigration.
Every year, we create 750,000 new citizens, and 80% of them vote for the Democrat Party.
Every year, we issue more than a million Green Cards, and those folks have crushed the wage scale for American-born low skill labor.
Every year, we issue or renew 750,000 "high tech" work visas to foreigners who directly compete against older American workers, and who have caused software engineering wages in America to stagnate for 15 years.
Sorry - on immigration, ObamaCare, and spending issues, I no longer trust the GOP leadership to tell the truth about ANYTHING!
I feel the same as you. Our current stance on legal and illegal immigration is unacceptable. But I do think that McCaul’s bill is an improvement on the situation.
I agree completely with that statement, and I don't watch the Kenyan either- I fast fwd him or pause long enough for him to be over. Dinesh D'Souza has him pegged, he hates America. And I say that he is fundamentally and deliberately destroying the USA, and he is a foreign enemy of the Constitution of the USA.
