Muskogee police on Friday released video of a fatal police shooting captured by an officer's body camera.
Officer Chansey McMillin shot and killed 21-year-old Terence D. Walker on Jan. 17 after Walker allegedly ran from police who confronted him outside the Old Agency Baptist Church.

His hands weren’t up and he was breathing.
What meme will the perpetually aggrieved assign to this one?
Walk, don’t run?

This proves once again that it is not a good idea to pull a gun on police, even while you are running away.

Doesn’t seem smart for a cop to shoot somebody in the back as they are running away.
Did you watch the video? He turned toward the officer, gun was cocked and loaded.

The perp stopped to get his gun out but dropped it. He picked it up and ran again. I guess the cop sbould have waited to see if the guy was going to do it again.

Looks to me like his gun fell out of his sock or pocket to me and he stopped to pick it up, how’s the cop supposed to know what he’ll do next?

"The perp stopped to get his gun out but dropped it. He picked it up, pointed it at the cop and ran again. I guess the cop sbould have waited to see if the guy was going to do it again."Or carjacked a passing car. Or shot a civilian. Or took a hostage.

“Walker allegedly ran from police”
I am getting real tired of PC. It should say, “who ran from police and pulled a weapon on the officer.” There is no allegedly and no mention of the pistol.

My guess he was the preacher at the wedding. He certainly personifies the belligerence seen in Furguson.
Muskogee is my home town, and it has changed a lot in the last 30 years. The demographic shift is similar to Furguson.

Well, cocked. You don’t know that it was loaded from the video. Whether or not it was loaded is conjecture at that point- likely but still conjecture.

"He turned toward the officer, gun was cocked and loaded."It's possible he tried to shoot, there was a misfire, so he ran again.
