I believe the West is complicit. The West defends Islam as the religion of peace over and over. We darn well know that what is happening to these women isn’t occasional—it’s institutional. I guess that’s what you would call it. It turns my stomach and sometimes I think of them before I fall asleep and then I can’t sleep. They are made to live with such horror and oppression. Enough of so many pussyfooting around and sweet talking Islam! Enough!
