A good reminder that “concealed” MEANS concealed!
You can make all of the excuses you want, but the last guy that let his show in a Walmart was shot dead by an over zealous security guard.
Being “dead right” is not my idea of personal security.
Where did this happen?
Why we should get rid of the separate designations of Concealed carry and Open carry.
Here lies the remains of Samuel Grey,
Who died defending his right-of-way.
He knew it was his as he sped along,
But he's just as dead as if he'd been wrong.
Yet another reason why it needs to be crystal clear that carry is legal (whether concealed, open, or in between).
Moreover, deadly force cannot be used on someone for mere possession of a firearm.
Other facts that would lead an objectively reasonable person to conclude that it is necessary to protect himself or another person from imminent death or serious bodily injury must exist before such force may be used.
It’s not that hard.
The guy that attacked him is lucky he didn’t get shot.
If somebody tried to attack me out of the blue I’d assume they were deranged and I can’t rule out me responding accordingly.
Florida is essentially a "Concealed ONLY" State. Many States follow the Constitution more closely, by not infringing on "the right of the People to keep and bear arms" openly.

In many states both open and concealed carry are allowed. While keeping it concealed is always a good idea, it is not always illegal to let it show, especially momentarily while entering and exiting a car.
I am hoping the perp gets a long sentence, and is permanently barred from owning weapons.

In almost all other crimes, the media will shield the victim's name. Why aren't they doing it in this instance? A little bias against weapons, anyone?
Indeed, I’ve seen a few dipsticks out there who don’t know what CC means.
It’s gotten several people killed too in the past.
In Virginia, both an open and concealed carry state, incidental exposure or printing are not crimes, as they are in some more regressive states.
I prefer concealed, but people who open carry don’t bother me and don’t seem to bother others around them (except for the new immigrants from MD, NJ, NY, etc.).
Right-o! I actually have to give credit to the guy who tackled him. How many folks would do that? Conceal your weapon or suffer the consequences. Especially when the media is making sure to convince folks that anyone with a gun is a dangerous nut.
posting about something that did not happen is irrelevant
