You aren’t going to bring up the 2003 heat wave episode are you?
I remember that summer...based out of Ramstein. Weeks and weeks of 95-degree temps and no relief. Nine thousand Germans and fourteen-thousand French died...mostly all over the age of sixty-five. They attributed this to most folks sipping increasing amounts of wine or beer in the afternoons....going into heat exhaustion...and just dying on balconies or in their living rooms.
