The Hopple Street exit off of NB I-75 is what collapsed, onto SB I-75. The exit is to the LEFT.
The new exit is to the right.
Some I-74 traffic has also been re-rerouted.
Check Cincinnati TV stations WKRC, WCPO and WLWT for more info.
The government has sovereign immunity. They never have to worry about liability.
I luff language. I luff it all to pieces.
We have a winner!!!!
Can they shield the private contractors, too, behind that? If not, they are going to want to cover the insurance policy they will need for a publicly trafficked facility.
Well, since John Kasich is Governor of Ohio and is a Republican, it must be his fault. Another Republican governor hit with a “Bridgegate.”
Thanks for clarifying that. I wasn’t sure if it had fallen down or collapsed. ;-)
I wonder if this is a bridge obozo posed in front of a few years back when he was spreading the money around for infrastructure....I believe it was a trip where he took his bus with him. By the way, whatever happened to that bus?
Somehow 0bama will milk this tonight to say that they have shovel-ready projects for infrastructure that need to be funded.
“Even though it was an accident it wont stop libs from hooting that we need new infrastructure.”
Ding, ding, ding!
MSNBC just did a story on the bridge collapse and brought in a guest who then talked about the crumbling US infrastructure. He implied that this bridge collapse becuase we are not spending enough money!
So predictable.
“”There were 2 of those busses. I wondered what became of them myself.””
Do you suppose they were repossessed? Maybe they are in China now.
We need to know where they are and what is planned for them. That was a heck of a lot of money ($2.2M)to spend for a few PR feel good moments. Nothing shows up in a search. Most everything goes back to 2011 when they were bought..
Think I’ll send a note to my congressman........
“”crumbling US infrastructure””
That was what the stimulus funds were for that Biden was supposed to account for.....don’t think he ever did. Big surprise.
RIP.
Southbound I-75 is open again in Cincinnati, with all 4 lanes flowing freely. This was not predicted, but it is a good surprise.
