I find it interesting you had to go to the restroom to “bawl privately”. Friend of ours said his wife left the theater after 45 minutes and went home (they are just a few blocks from theater). I asked Mr. OG why she left, he said “I don’t know, probably too much violence”. Now I think otherwise.
Mr. OG has not gone to movie in at least over 10 years, me about 8 but we plan to go to this one - after the crowds have cleared out.
I just needed to compose myself and sought privacy and cold water to rinse my face. I have lived in a testosterone rich environment all my life so the language and war violence didn’t bother me, plus working in a medical environment for 20 years kinda immunized me to some sights. It was his sad death at the hands of another vet with ptsd that brought on the tears. So many lives affected by these wars....
