Really?

Unarmed French cops ran away from engaging Islamic terrorists.

If the police can’t protect you thanks to those same gun control policies, its open season for the bad guys.

And if you’re dead, whatever the government does afterwards is water under the bridge.

I don’t want stupid people like Liam Neeson and Eugene Robinson to put my life in the hands of cops who may not be able to put down a life-threatening situation.

Protecting my life and the lives of others if necessary - is first and foremost my responsibility. There is no other way around it.

Can you read? Do you really think I believe what Liam Neeson believes?

Of course not.

What I'm saying is that action movies are not about encouraging us to be courageous and self-sufficient, they are about sending a message that resistance is futile.

Conservatives are being suckered if they think that action movies are the lone safe haven for viewing pleasure. They may be entertaining for two hours, and they may be free of overtly liberal preaching, but in most cases they are sending a subliminal message that is anti-freedom and anti-second-amendment.

Yes I know that the police won't help us, the FBI won't help us, the Navy Seals won't even help us. But the government and Hollywood don't even want us to help us.

So break out the popcorn and 32-oz drink and enjoy two hours of an aging Chuck Norris killing legions of baddies, evading death via impossible car chases, saving the twenty-something hottie and her young son who somehow knows how to hack into the NSA to find out who's really behind all this.
