Yeah, here’s the thing about John’s little spat with Obama. He knows there is nothing about Obama’s amnesty program that the Republican left disagrees with. We get this dog and pony show to keep conservatives hopeful, but when the veto comes, conservatives get duped again.

At the end, this is the best will we get from this showdown. Obama will get his funding for his illegal actions, but this theater isn’t for the Tea Party, this is for the Republicans that only pay attention during election seasons. And I don’t think they are scared of the base yet, but they are worried. They know most of them will be able to win primaries, and then a sizeable portion of the base will hold their noses to send them back to Washington. The only worry is that they will be one of the couple that actually lose.
