After insisting for weeks that former Florida Department of Law Enforcement Commissioner Gerald Bailey had resigned, Gov. Rick Scott said Tuesday he forced the longtime law enforcement chief out of office...

When asked about Bailey, Scott has repeatedly said he did a “great job,” but would not elaborate on his decision.

“He resigned,” Scott told reporters after Tuesday’s Cabinet meeting. “Commissioner Bailey did a great job.”

...the Tampa Bay Times...reported that Bailey said Scott’s explanation “is a lie,” and that he was forced out of office.

“I did not voluntarily do anything,” Bailey told the Times/Herald. “If he said I resigned voluntarily, that is a lie. If he said that, he’s being totally untruthful.”

Well, it didn't appear from the QUOTES utilized by the reporter that Rick Scott SAID the gentleman "voluntarily" resigned.

The Florida media, back in the "nit pick" mode on Rick Scott, has done nearly NO COVERAGE on the people in Florida who have lost their PREFERRED health coverage because of the LIES by Obama.

Big effing deal. So he was “invited to leave”. This guy is probably on his 3rd Pension check after 27 years of “service”.

Well of course not, it's all part of the Marxist imperative that the MSM swear allegiance to. zer0care is the first step to single payer, the leftist’s ultimate healthcare goal. You can't assume anything but foul intensions from the MSM.

Well, appointees serve “at the pleasure of the Governor”—they are not routine civil service employees or judges who cannot be removed with a crowbar. I know nothing about the individual who resigned, but he really needs to put on his big boy pants and not whine.
