Everyone thinks the chief gettin' fired is the crime ... but it ain't

The 'city officials' in (enough) power to actually terminate the employment of a man because of what he believes, and shares with others, is the REAL crime.

What city official has that power?

Chamber of Commerce or something ?

Is Cochran black? I would assume if he is, no action would have been taken against him. Could be wrong on that.
