Eric Holder, top U.S. officials no-shows at Paris unity rally
NY Daily News ^

More than 40 European leaders and almost every French official turned out for the massive unity rally in Paris Sunday — but there was no sign of the U.S.

Neither President Obama or Vice President Biden made the trip to Paris, although dozens of other world leaders and officials put ceremony aside and jostled for space amid the crowds in a stirring show of support against terrorism.

The U.S. did send Attorney General Eric Holder to attend a pre-march terrorism summit convened by French President Francois Hollande.

Holder, 63, joined with Hollande in condemning the recent Paris attacks in the strongest possible terms and said the U.S. will hold another terrorism summit in D.C. in February.

But his support apparently stopped there — because he wasn’t seen at the emotional “Je Suis Charlie” rally afterward that attracted 1.3 million. Across France, nearly 4 million people turned out in similar demonstrations.

As chanting spectators filled the Place de la Republique, the only U.S. dignitary present was the U.S. Ambassador to France Jane Hartley.

Why?

Too busy weaponizing al Qaeda (”rebels”)
too busy keeping the borders open
too busy attacking conservatives
too busy defending Islamic terrorists
too busy helping radical Islamic terrorists

He had a much more important Black Lives Matter demonstration to attend along with his Black Panther brothers.

An opera buffa, Obama sent Eric Holder, the architect of Clinton’s presidential pardon of the Puerto Rican terrorist of the FALN, to a summit in Paris to fight terrorism.

Holder has a soft heart for terrorists.

http://michellemalkin.com/2009/01/09/how-eric-holder-fixed-the-faln-pardons/

“I remember this well, because it was such a big deal to consider clemency for a group of people convicted of such heinous crimes,” said Adams, the agency’s top pardon lawyer from 1997 until 2008. He said he told Holder of his “strong opposition to any clemency in several internal memos and a draft report recommending denial” and in at least one face-to-face meeting. But each time Holder wasn’t satisfied, Adams said.

The 16 members of the FALN (the Spanish acronym for Armed Forces of National Liberation) and Los Macheteros had been convicted in Chicago and Hartford variously of bank robbery, possession of explosives and participating in a seditious conspiracy. Overall, the two groups had been linked by the FBI to more than 130 bombings, several armed robberies, six slayings and hundreds of injuries.

If Obama or top officials showed up in Paris, it would remind everyone who is the cause of the terrorist surge.

Obama prematurely pulled out of Iraq and failed to secure Syria making a giant patch of the ME a no go zone for terrorists to plot and train.

Obama released the top terror king ping generals, giving terrorists a huge propaganda boost.

Obama fails even to use the word Terror or Islamic terror and falsely claims “the war is over.”

Obama and those who supported his feckless foreign relations have much to answer for.

Let’s hope we will be looking at a mass attack in the US soon because of his failed, terror inspiring mis-leadership.

Good. Neither Biden or Holder or any of the members of Team Obama give a damn about freedom of speech, fighting terrorism, or standing for individual liberty.

Correction: Let’s hope we will NOT be looking at a mass attack in the US soon because of his failed, terror inspiring mis-leadership.

Why would a moslem government take part in an anti moslem terrorist march? The Sultan would rather stand back and sneer in quiet satisfaction as he tees up.

They were in Paris but got confused because they thought it was a celebration for the success of the attacks and they got lost.

Republican congressional leaders and potential presidential candidates just missed a great opportunity to represent America at the march and at the same time show Obama up for the muslim sympathizing ass that he really is.

Perhaps he sees the massive demonstration of unity could be perceived by Muslims as the winds shifting in an ugly direction against them. At least they would have the support of the POTUS.
Flashback:
Actual quote from “The Audacity of Hope” [pg. 261]: Of course, not all my conversations in immigrant communities follow this easy pattern. In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans, for example, have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging. They have been reminded that the history of immigration in this country has a dark underbelly; they need specific assurances that their citizenship really means something, that America has learned the right lessons from the Japanese internments during World War II, and that I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.

Sorry I’ve heard Dick Cheney and several high ranking military officers say its only a matter of when we have another mass attack. (On TV)

In other words, this is Obama’s moment to be morally superior in his own little mind.

I believe the proper response to this sudden moment of outrage is to explain to them that Sherlock does in fact remain constipated.
