WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Republicans in the House of Representatives will try to block President Barack Obama's immigration initiatives next week by denying funding for them in a security budget bill, lawmakers said on Friday.
The decision by House Speaker John Boehner to initiate an immigration showdown with the White House appeared to placate some conservatives just three days after they tried to oust Boehner in the most contentious leadership election in decades.

This won’t hold up. What’s Boehner gonna do at the inevitable showdown? Shutdown the government?

“Boehner throws a bone.”
************************************************************
IMHO it's a paper mache bone; it's not real and, in the end, Boehner will fund CIS to advance Obama’s unconstitutional “executive action”. Don't believe a word Boehner says until he shows actual results. If results are not obtained, he never meant to obtain them; it's that simple.

Boehner is gonna do what he always does. Drop his trousers, bend over the president’s desk and let Nero drive his point home.

That’s what I heard.
It seems a little late for Boehner’s insincere grandstanding now.

From what I understand, the Republicans will defund DHS. The border is lowest on the list of priorities and
with all things government tries to fix this will make things worse.
This will make the borders less secure and even more illegals will enter the country.
Remember, the establishment Republicans need and prefer cheap labor. This action will placate the Chamber of Commerce which is a big time campaign contributor to Republicans and keep the masses happy by saying they'll defund Obama's immigration laws.

afraid Boehner is throwing a show pony carnival ... never passes Senate unless Senate adapts rules of majority plus one. Then there comes the veto. Horse is out of barn because Boehner allowed horse to escape with full funding in Cromulus (sp) bill that is signed law.

Boehner has never had a Republican controlled Senate to support him. This might prove interesting.
