Applies to people and implies perhaps a bit of “Home Invader.
I was at the screening of historian Dr. Larry Schweikart this Wednesday at his movie about rock and roll helping to bring down the wall.
After the movie, he was telling us that he was preparing a part two about rock and roll helping bring down the regimes in the Middle East. The topics of bringing down the wall and borders came up.
And there arose from this crowd ( it’s a Lefty art house theater), “We have our own wall at the border.”
And, Our border is still a wall,” came from multiple murmurs.
My husband spoke loud enough for the lefties to hear.
“Don’t you know the difference between keeping people out and keeping people in? Aren’t we a allowed to be a sovereign state?”
