The two brothers named by French authorities as chief suspects in the attack on the Charlie Hebdo newspaper in Paris were on the U.S. no-fly list, a senior U.S. counterterrorism official said Thursday.
Another U.S. official said Said Kouachi, 34, has traveled to Yemen. It was unclear whether Kouachi, 34, was there to work with extremist groups like Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula, which is based there.

Well, haven’t most of us flown to Yemen at some point in our lives? There’s so much to see and do there. You guys are just paranoid. /s
Does going to Yemen automatically put someone on the” no fly” list? Just curious.
How does one get to Yemen without flying (or riding a camel)?
Do we share this list with anybody? Not that it matters, because we don’t seem to enforce it very strictly.
In any case, these guys were supposedly being monitored by French security. Just the way the Tsarnaevs were supposedly being monitored by US security after the warning from the Russians, I guess.
I don’t know, but it probably should. Actually, there’ve been some AQ attacks in Yemen itself (on Yemenis) recently, so I’d say it’s not a place you’d have any good reason to go unless you were into that sort of thing, so to speak.
If it’s not automatic, maybe it should be.

For ONE minute you think i believe these worthless pukes that there were on ANY f’n ‘list’? A$$covering wannabee so called gate keeper ‘saviors’ to keep their next egg $$ rolling in. Check the border, is it SAFE?
Well, with the sheer number of people on the list (randomly added), I’m sure a couple of them will turn out to be actual terrorists. Quite the non-story.
