Thanks for that excellent research.
I was just commenting on another thread that Boehner acts like someone who is being blackmailed.
Here's a bit more ...

In an appearance on Fox News to talk about the aftermath of Tuesdays failed revolt against Boehner, Gohmert criticized the removal of Reps. Daniel Webster and Rich Nugent, who voted against the speaker, from the Rules Committee in the 114th Congress.
We were going to work together after the battle was over, then were told its not over. Were going to screw you over. And its one thing when you get hurt on your own exercise equipment, but its another when your own speaker does it to you, the Texas Republican said.

If I woke up some day and was told, Well, youre out, your party turned against you, I would literally be able to say, Thank you, God. I thought I was going to have to keep doing this job.
He also questioned whether the decision to remove Webster and Nugent was made by Boehner.
We need to find out was this from the speaker or was this from his speakers staff? Ive had more than one of the speakers inner circle say, you know something I know we can work on together is getting the speaker back in control.
Its something [former Rep.] Dan Lungren had commented about when he was in Congress and then went to be attorney general of California, then came back. He said, I couldnt believe how much members lost control and leadership staff were running Congress. And that is something that needs to be worked on and changed.
More like complicit. A true wolf in sheep’s clothing.
