I'm not at all a crime scene expert, but I would say with almost certainty that this was a crime of passion, and not a random killing.
So, whoever did this obviously had some relationship with her. How many relationships in a small town can an a person have? Most likely less than 50.
Usually these violent gang types are not the clever conniving types...they are usually as dumb as a pile of rocks and will often even boast about their crimes in Social Media.
Serious, I'm amazed that they are not narrowing down to a suspect.

From what I have read about this crime and the people involved, it might be the officials might be afraid for their lives. Being such a small community, every body knows every body, including their children and where they live. If this gang has say 50 or more members, then no one would be safe.
