No one appears to be taking a pass on the GOP race for the White House in 2016, setting up the possibility of a primary for the ages.
Its a complete turnaround from 2012, when Mitt Romney was the clear favorite and big-name rivals took a pass on challenging either him or President Obama.
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, and former governors Jeb Bush (Fla.) and Mike Huckabee (Ark.) are showing no hesitancy this time around and there isnt a possible Democratic candidate scaring away any Republicans. New players like Sens. Rand Paul (Ky.), Marco Rubio (Fla.) and Ted Cruz (Texas) are sure to jump in the race, while former Texas Gov. Rick Perry is promising a repeat this time with no missteps.
Former Sen. Rick Santorum (Pa.), who finished second to Romney in 2012, could be back, too, while Govs. Scott Walker (Wis.), Bobby Jindal (La.), John Kasich (Ohio) and Mike Pence (Ind.) all may choose to run.
Dr. Ben Carson is poised to be the biggest dark horse. He has a loyal following that may be underestimated: When Im home, I get asked the most by family members and friends about the conservative physician and whether he really has a chance to win.

The more liberals the merrier, let them kill off each other.
If Mitt and Jeb run, they could split the “moderate” vote.
I really would enjoy pulling the lever for Cruz, but it ain’t gonna happen as long as there’s an R next to his name.
Jessica Taylor is a racist.
I’m sitting out. Not even voting in the primary.
????????????
‘No ones sitting out 2016 for Republicans’
Except for the qualified real conservatives.
The more RINOs, the merrier as far as I’m concerned. Let’s fragment the RINO/low information voter vote in 2016.
Let’s UNITE NOW FOR TED CRUZ 2016. Let’s NOT SPLIT the conservative vote yet again.
Bonehead and McDorkell will have killed off the GOP by then.
And dat’s the twuth!
No ones sitting out 2016 for Republicans
Except for the qualified real conservatives.

You really need to “get out more”. Do you think Ted Cruz will be sitting out 2016?
Then don’t bitch when the results aren’t in your favor!!
m sitting out. Not even voting in the primary.
Ay, que bueno. Gracias.
Good point. We see how that's worked out so far. The only difference is that the presidency is the FIRST REAL JOB of any type that the community agitator ever had.
OH, the way things are going, I see a LOT of people sitting out the 2016 Presidential Election.
Conservative Voters, especially if Jeb, Mitt, or the outlaw Jersey Whale gets forced on us. . .
Very clever. May have to steal that one.
Results won’t be in my favor, no matter who wins. Don’t complain when you get exactly what you vote for. That’s what happened in November. The GOP has done nothing but affirm 0’s agenda, Boehner has done nothing but defer action against 0, and the GOP has lied to us over and over. They did all that up to the election and won. Of course they would keep doing the same thing. If you vote Republican, you’re voting for Obama.
If it appear they’re splitting the vote, one will drop out and support the other. Bush will be the nominee. Bank on it.
