I wouldn’t go that far. Pedophile is a word for someone sexually attracted to children - children that have not yet developed adult bodies. These girls were not children by that definition. Some of them may have been minors, but there were no “children” there.
The “natural man” sees girls in their late teens as pretty much the holy grail regarding sex. Most civilized adult males have weened themselves from it, especially if they are Christian.
