Too late for some friends of mine who had a thriving foie gras business in Sonoma. They were from Central America. Went to France to learn the business. Did very well until the extremists attacked their way of life, both physically and in the courts. Lovely Christian immigrants contributing legally to society, run out of town.
I believe yo friends are featured in the article. Sorry for their loss. I believe they say they will now take the middleman role in the supply chain.
