The bad news may be that since they were captured so quickly they were probably already on the radar - and should have been dealt with more forcefully before killing all these people.
And perhaps the French police should be armed!!
At least one of today's killers was sentenced to three years in prison (with 18 months suspended) for trying to join 'Al Queda In Iraq' back in 2008.
I'm reading all this correctly, Cherif Kouachi was also arrested further back in 2005 for participating in a network funneling French jihadists to Iraq but they apparently let him go.
Here's an FR thread from 2005 covering the arrest of Cherif Kouachi:
FR Archives: 'Arrests keep young would-be French militants from Iraqi battlefields'
More are accountable for today's attacks...particularly those involved in betraying the trust of these victims.
The more I am reading about these guys’ past, they should’ve been either locked up or kicked out of France LONG AGO. ‘PC’ kept authorities from detaining them, and I’m sure that same phenomenon is happening here as well. Maj. Hasan comes to mind. The initials ‘SOA’ on his calling card was a clue; ‘Soldier of Allah’.. This is a watershed moment for being nice to terrorists for ‘PC’ sake. Game over.
Maybe it's time some 'innocent' Muslims are killed instead of innocent Christians, eh?
I heard a report that one of them dropped his ID card at the scene
