They need to have an expedited process to revoke citizenship and expel naturalized citizens who either become jihadis, or play any role in organizations which recruit jihadis.
If those thousand French citizens fighting for ISIS come back to France, they will raise a generation of violent militants. The current thousand will be followed by an ongoing stream of new jihadis, with a growing pipeline of new recruits and violent attacks within France.
