Why would they be associated with the middle class in the first place?

They’re all about establishing a virtually feudalistic system of neo-nobility ruling class government officials and the rest being peasants that live and die at their whim.

Is that lost as in misplaced? Or lost as in destroyed?

Tick, tick, tick.... countdown to the revolution. Likely to be more like the French revolution this time around.

Just because the Dems lost the middle class does not mean that the GOP has found it.

Back in the 70’s my mother would argue politics with my uncle. He would say the democrats are for a the little guy. She asked, “Do you have a job? Then you are not the little guy.”

They have shrunk the middle class to the point that losing it is almost irrelevant. Also, the “working class” poor demographic being described in the article is not the “middle class”.

The new bifurcated Democratic Party of rich and poor shows a sort of contempt for those who do not share the privileged tastes of the elites and can't earn their easy sympathy by being dependent on liberal government largesse.

American democrats are the new South American banana republic's team... with white liberal elites gaming power by exploiting the fears and humiliations of the lower-class criminal classes... Hello Sharpton...

The left is only interested in the “Plantation Class.”

Democrats may have lost the middle class, but the GOP is doing absolutely nothing to bring them into the fold.

While everything that VDH says is true here, the one thing that is the bane of American society is the absolute dictator-like like hold the left has on the education system/academia and popular/entertainment culture. Day after day people are bombarded with liberal story lines about how they are for the middle class, the poor, etc., etc.. This is the falsehood that is so hard to fight.

They know this, and that is why they are working hard to shrink that class.

*puts on flame suit*

Can’t the middle class save itself?

On this website and threads, there’s a mantra that the middle class must be rescued, but isn’t the middle class supposed to be about being self sufficient and adaptable?

*proceeds to duck and cover*

Democrats for over a century were associated with the American middle class.

Praised by their useful idiot friends in the MSM they have been able to sucker the masses into believing that becoming slaves to an all powerful government is mans Utopian destiny.
