A group of Surreal Catholics gather to "celebrate the life" of a mass murderer of babies, a man who ordered a Catholic bishop, Austin Vaughan, beaten up while he celebrated Mass in the Albany city jail.

Did Governor Cuomo and his mistress receive communion?

Evidently he was a good Catholic, and his funeral will serve to remind Catholics, which party to support.

Now I thought that in the Catholic Church you could not receive church Communion, if you were a supporter of abortion?

Does Mario get a pass because he was famous and the Church does not want to get hounded because Mario was denied Christian burial?

Or has the Catholic Church changed their stance of the abortion issue?

While no one has the right or the authority to judge the SOUL of another person, the funeral (if permitted at all) should have been at midnight, with only the widow and children present. To do otherwise is to endorse the proposition that promoting abortion is not a sin—which could not true unless abortion is not a sin.

The likelihood that Mario Cuomo is not, at this moment, in hell is somewhere between zero and nada. The most comforting thing anyone could reasonably say to the family is that repentance in the last moments of consciousness is a METAPHYSICAL POSSIBILITY.

We know Mario did not make a good confession, because no statement repudiating his support of genocide was issued. If he made an Act of Perfect Contrition, it was AFTER making bad confessions and sacrilegious Communions for decades, up to the day of his death.

Every priest at that Mass is destined for hell. Most of the congregation, also.

In that sense, God is in charge.

It’s mostly the old guard “My grandpa was a Democrat. The unions saved his job...blah...blah..blah” —who have never thought for themselves politically.

Look at all those white heads there.

The Catholic Church teaches that Communion MUST be denied to those who “obstinately persist in manifest grave sin.” Any person who supports abortion fits that description. Any bishop, priest, deacon, or Extraordinary Minister of Communion who gives Communion to a person he knows is a public supporter of abortion COMMITS A MORTAL SIN.

The Catholic Church has a problem. The vast majority of the bishops are too cowardly, or are liberal Democrats, or are blackmailable (e.g., have, like Cardinal Donald Wuerl, been photographed in gay bars, etc.), or are greedy (the bishops’ conference takes in $70 million/year from the government to promote open borders), and thus, all but about twelve bishops in America give Communion to pro-abortion public figures.

The teaching of the Catholic Church has not changed. The vast majority of the bishops are not men and not Catholics.

Yes. Many are Libertarians. Many more who have rejected their parents’ religion, also reject their politics.

OK then why does the Church not excommunicate them? Replace them with people who are loyal to the doctrine?
