I don’t think Gowdy voted against Boehner or it would have been 29; that is what Rush said, anyway.
Gowdy didn’t show up. He claims weather delayed him, but he announced that IF he had been there, he’d have voted Boehner. He is NOT the man people claim he is.

As I understand it, Gowdy did not vote because he couldn’t get to Washington because of bad weather.
I read (sorry, no link) that Trey said he’d vote for Boehner if he were there.
