Two police officers were shot in the Bronx Monday night, the New York Police Department confirmed Monday night.
Details of the shooting and the condition of the two cops were not immediately known, the department said.
The incident occurred in the Fordham section of the Bronx at 184th and Teibout Avenue and police are still searching for a suspect.
Local New York City television news outlets reported the officers were rushed to St. Barnabas Medical Center and that their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening....

An ambush in a city is a very simple matter. Too many places for the shooter to hide. If this attacker manages to escape, he will become an example for others. A full-scale guerilla war against police is not winnable by the police.

Yet, we are to believe that there was no attempt to target police officers. None at all.
Rebirth of the San Francisco Committee of Vigilance will never be allowed by modern governments, no matter now many LEOs are killed. They'd be pursuing vigilantes harder than the criminals. And, perhaps, they'd have a reason to do so, as vigilantes are not certified "good boys" who cannot become corrupt and drunk with power. French Revolution, and many revolutions after that, demonstrated that whatever floats to the surface of any movement is not necessarily the best.
Soon dead thugs will be found in the city shot with untraceable weapons. Sounds horrible but historically this is how these things evolve and end.

FOX news now reporting on TV that there was a gun battle. One suspect was injured and is in custody. Another suspect is at large.

Pinochet made sure it was not gobbled up by communism when he got rid of Allende.
Sharpton killing more cops. Haven’t heard him say it is time to stop.

No, by that time we’d moved to Iowa. Did most of my K-8 in Chino (Walnut Elem. & Magnolia Jr. High) and Pomona (St. Paul’s LCMS), though, with several years in the Broward & Dade County Florida schools. I just read A LOT.
