Maybe it’s JUST ME, but I don’t see how being on the House Asia-Pacific Interrelational Infrastructure Sub-Committee or whatever the hell is so important to them is worth SELLING OUT your country and your voters for.
I just don’t see it...maybe it’s me.
Boener shouldn’t have ANY LEVERAGE, whats-so-ever...If I had ONE VOTE in the House I would be VERY HAPPY with that...and that alone, just as Dave Brat is.
If you are on an important committees, then the entities which that committee regulates have an incentive to give you campaign contributions. Lobbyists will invite you to lunch and to cocktail parties and to junkets in nice places. Extremely beautiful women will want to spend the evening with you to "discuss pending legislation".
If you are not on any important committee, then the DC insiders will have little interest in you.
The committee assignments are about campaign cash from the industries regulated.
