It has to be a collaborative effort, i can’t think of single Smokehouse that would do 8K lbs. Anyone else know?
That’s more than 300 cows.
Really? Yer joshin; me, right?
*** Notice how Abbott didn’t mention where the brisket was ordered from, after all, that could start a Texas civil war.***
This reminds me of an old ACE REID cartoon from about 50 years ago. a A group of cattlemen are at a barbeque eating and glancing at each other.
One cowboy says to the other...”The boys are not having a good time today. They are not sure whose pasture this beef was rustled from!”
Soo here is a different one, still just as funny!
This is sure to start a flap.
Who has the best BBQ in Tx etc...
I do not recall the name but I do believe there is a place in Tx that does process these size order’s to ship worldwide.
We can safely say it is not the guy in the shack on the side of 380.
we are driving to Texas in April to see the blue bonnets and visit Cooper’s BBQ in Llano. Having consumed massive quantities of BBQ from all over I can say with certainty that Coopers is the best in the world for pork and brisket
We also hope to visit Fredrick and the Nimitz museum
We will drive 4 or 5000 miles for blue bonnets and the world’s best bbq
We don’t have cable or satellite so when we visit my mom over thanksgiving we always watch those dives, binders and so forth shows and he ones with brisket sandwiches always make me almost cry.
Y’know, I’ve never had brisket. At least not real Texas smoked/bbq’d brisket (I’ve had corned beef (flat cut) a time or two).
Itching to try it, though. I’ve always considered piggy the meat of choice for BBQ, but I’ve heard nothing but praised for Texas beef brisket.
And yes, if any of ya’ll want to send me some from Sonny Bryan’s or wherever, I’ll gladly accept. LOL!
