My grandfather was a POW in Germany, and he HATED Hogan’s Heroes.
I knew a German POW who was held in the US, and stayed after the war. He also hated Hogans Heroes. He was a proud German and couldn't stand the portrayals of the oafish Klink and Schultz.
I guess the show had something for everyone....
