Planned Parenthood Report: 327,653 Babies Aborted By Organization in 2013

WASHINGTON – A newly-released report by the Planned Parenthood Federation of America shows that the organization performed over 300,000 abortions in 2013—the latest figures on record—equating to 37 abortions per hour or 1 almost every 90 seconds.

The abortion giant releases the report each year to tout its achievements, which include services largely centering around sexual activity.

“In 2014, Planned Parenthood expanded our reach—and deepened our impact—providing the health care and education that help millions of people pursue their dreams and realize their full potential, and advocating for full access to and equality in reproductive health care,” Planned Parenthood wrote in this year’s report.

According to the online document, the organization performed 327,653 abortions nationwide during the 2013-2014 fiscal year, up from 327,166 the year prior. The figures also show that there were 1,880 adoption referrals, down 14 percent from 2012, equating to 174 abortions for every adoption referral.

As it has been in previous years, Planned Parenthood’s largest focus was sexually transmitted diseases (STD’s), as it tested and/or treated over 4 million people for sexual ailments, which included over 704,00 HIV tests, up by 24,000 from two years ago. There were over 3 million sexually transmitted infection tests provided alone.

Second in line to STD’s was the provision of contraception, which included the performance of over 8oo sterilization procedures on women and over 4,100 vasectomy operations on men nationwide—the latter figure being up from over 3,700 procedures performed the previous year. These surgeries render an individual infertile, unable to conceive children for life.

Over 3.5 million people were provided with contraceptives or other forms of birth control in 2013—from temporary to permanent, including 1.4 million emergency contraception kits. This figure is down from 3.7 million contraceptives provided by Planned Parenthood the year before.

“Over the last five years, Planned Parenthood health centers have seen a 91 percent increase in the use of IUDs and implants—the most effective reversible methods of preventing unintended pregnancies,” the organization writes. “These are great birth control options for women—including adolescents—who want the best protection and aren’t ready yet to start a family.”

The report also includes a quote from a young woman named Shireen, who states, “Birth control has changed my life. It has allowed me to attend college, travel and be a working woman. I get my birth control at Planned Parenthood because it is accessible and affordable, and because Planned Parenthood advocates for women like me—a young woman of color—every day.”

Another student said that because of Planned Parenthood, she wants to study to become an abortionist.

While the abortion giant’s income was down slightly in the 2013-2014 fiscal year, it still received $528 million in taxpayer funding/grants, which equated to 41 percent of its total income. $44.6 million of Planned Parenthood’s income was used for sex education, and $33.6 million was used for public policy, or to influence legislation. Despite its expenditures, it still garnered a $127.1 million dollar profit and opened 10 new facilities nationwide.

In its report, the organization also touts that its influence upon youth is greater than ever.

“We now have more than 200 college campus groups—a 182 percent increase from three years ago—at universities ranging from Yale, to Wellesley to Spelman,” Planned Parenthood outlines. “Additionally, 1,503 peer educators (half of whom are people of color) partnered with Planned Parenthood educators at 42 affiliates and conducted sex education workshops on issues such as healthy relationships and birth control for youth in their communities, reaching 100,000 young people across the country.”

Planned Parenthood was founded in 1921 by Margaret Sanger, which was originally known as the American Birth Control League. She later changed the name as some found it offensive.

“We are paying for, and even submitting to, the dictates of an ever-increasing, unceasingly spawning class of human beings who never should have been born at all,” Sanger once said, who was reportedly a staunch advocate of eugenics. “The most merciful thing that a family does to one of its infant members is to kill it.”

Sanger was also the publisher of the newspaper The Woman Rebel, which she subtitled “No Gods, no masters.”

“It’s obvious, due to the silence of the Church, this encroachment on America has brought this detriment and this holocaust to our land, and the Church will be held responsible,” Clenard Childress, pastor of New Calvary Baptist Church in Montclair, N.J. and director of the Life Education and Resource Network (LEARN) told Christian News Network last year. “The Scriptures teach that judgment first begins at the house of God, yet they think it begins in the Congress or the White House—no, it begins with us. And we have been too silent on this issue.”

This cannot be stressed enough.

The truth is they are killing off our next generation and we are footing the bill.

What sad irony this is.

The 300,000 babies were probably from Democrat mothers-to-be. They are killing off the future liberals, women and abortion doctors, who would CONTINUE legal abortions.

The truth is they are killing off our next generation and we are footing the bill.

Since 1973 they have killed off nearly 60 MILLION Americans, many of whom would have gotten jobs and contributed to the economy. They would have paid taxes and things like Social Security would probably be solvent.

The dirty little secret that nobody wants to talk about with illegal aliens is the fact that the government is desperate to get more people paying payroll taxes to fund Social Security and Medicare.

The Baby Boomers created a demographic nightmare when they decided to kill off the people who are needed to fund their retirement.

Truly.

In fact, I'm not really sure even where to start. WBill Jr. is going to be head and shoulders above these people - already is, in many ways.

Too many parents seem to neglect teaching their children morality. This is what happens when children aren’t taught how to distinguish right from wrong.

WBill Jr. is blessed.

:-) Thank you for the kind thought, but I'd argue that it's the other way 'round.

I've no idea why I read articles like this...they only sadden me. I suppose it's like a train wreck that I can't look away from.

As for the young lady you quoted.... I'm solidly ensconced in the middle class. Not rich, not poor. Happily a suburbanite, I suppose. However, if I were to make a list of all the things to which I could attribute my success (such as it is), "Free Birth Control" wouldn't even make the top million.

Sad, that so many people nowadays are defined solely by what they do with their genitalia. What a boring existence that must be.

Thanks, WBill. :)

There are times that I can’t read these articles, because they can be so distressing, but I believe that it is my responsibility to read them, to talk about them, to vote accordingly and to do what is in my power to end this scourge.

Maybe nothing that I do matters, but something has to make a difference.
