Common Core & 2016
Accuracy in Academia ^ | January 2, 2015 | Malcolm A. Kline

As 2014 drew to a close, at least three probably contenders for the Republican presidential nomination in 2016 have taken fairly clear positions on the Common Core education reforms favored by the Obama Administration.

Former Florida governor Jeb Bush, of course, has given C-squared his full throated support but he has been out of office for years. New Jersey, governed by Chris Christie, has officially embraced the Double C.

Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, meanwhile, is taking a different approach.

“In a continued push to overturn the implementation of Common Core standards and testing in schools, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal joined forces with lawmakers in a lawsuit against Louisiana state education officials,” Sherri Kuhn reported in School Reform News. “This most recent move is the third lawsuit Jindal has been involved with in a period of several months.”

“Jindal filed the paperwork required in order to join 17 state legislators in a lawsuit they filed on July 21. The suit claims the state Board of Elementary and Secondary Education did not properly follow the law when it failed to provide sufficient public notice of the state's intention to adopt Common Core standards. The plaintiffs argue this action prevented the public from viewing the documents and voicing potential concerns.”

Jeb Bush can't get enough of Common Core but has everybody else had enough of it?--

The fact that it has not been properly validated is damning evidence in and of itself.

They unethically hid the fact that 5 of the 29 members of the validation committee refused to sign off.

http://pioneerinstitute.org/featured/common-core-english-and-math-standards-not-properly-validated/

Five of the 29 members of the Common Core Validation Committee refused to sign a report attesting that the standards are research-based, rigorous and internationally benchmarked. The report was released with 24 signatures and included no mention that five committee members refused to sign it, according to a new study published by Pioneer Institute.

No member of the Validation Committee had a doctorate in English literature or language and only one held a doctorate in math. He was one of only three members with extensive experience writing standards. Two of the three refused to sign off on the standards.

Jeb's a big government guy with no track record of how he'd vote on federal issues on which constitutional conservatives have been backstabbed by the establishment. He also could've saved Terri Schiavo, instead sided with an insurance company death panel. I will drop out of the Republican Party forever if he's the nominee, for that alone.

Common Core should be abolished. Remember that George 1 started this federal takeover of education with things like his federal mandates about technology education. The Bushes (from grandpa on down) are first class globalists elitists who put on an "aw shucks" attitude as a public demeanor.

It’s interesting to compare what happened to federal spending as a share of GDP under both Bushes vis a vis Clinton.

Either too stupid to know what’s in it or does and is behind it.

Common Core is Agenda 21 group mind think indoctrination for children to turn them from individuals to subjects / citizens. Anyone that has talked to teachers, looked into the course curriculum, the political subject matter, the long hand form of doing things that make no sense other than forming minds “their way” to throw away common sense, the skewing of the moral compass to make students lie to come up with the right answer, etc..knows that something is terribly wrong with this program.

I have a feeling that deranged psychotic leftist psychologists and educators designed the program for none other than NWO indoctrination BS. Kill the program and investigate the reasons for its founding and find the real originators of this evil program and hold their feet to the fire...

This guy had a major hand in the formation of CommieCore standards.

He is now bombing the hell out of our kid's ability to think like Americans.

No.
He has always been the idiot. I have made a point of referring to him by the term “GW’s Dumber Brother” on newspaper forums for the last three years.

This applies for sure then:

“I have a feeling that deranged psychotic leftist psychologists and educators designed the program for none other than NWO indoctrination BS”

What amazes me today is that the liberals are now the statists and are all in for a socialist government whereas the conservatives are against the “empire”. Basically a 180 of what they used to mean. Must really be end times. All signs are pointing to it. I think 2017 is when the SHTF in overdrive mode. I fear for our land the next 2 years. Think of the evil he has accomplished in 2014 alone. Things are ratcheting up.
